Will Gerard Will Gerald

Will hails from the low-country of South Carolina where he grew up exploring its marshes, beaches, rivers, and woodlands. He currently resides in the highlands of Arizona, and enjoys the mountains, canyons, mesas, and forests of the southwest. After serving four years in the United States Maine Corps Infantry, working as a stone mason, motorcycle technician, and adventure camp director; he graduated from Northern Arizona University, and completed a year of AmeriCorps service before joining the team at the Arboretum at Flagstaff in 2013. Will’s professional interests revolve mainly around conservation and sustainability, while his personal interests include reading, taking the road less traveled, and most outdoors pursuits. He lives with a wonderful woman, two dogs who share his own idiosyncrasies, and two crazy black cats who’s personalities couldn't be more different. In good weather he bicycles across town and into the woods for work, but someday hopes to expand his definition of good weather.
