Docent Training 2008

·        Do you want to learn more about high elevation native plants?

·        Are you interested in the natural history of Flagstaff and the surrounding area?

·        Do you enjoy sharing your knowledge with others?

If you have answered yes to these questions, you are an ideal candidate for the docent-training program at The Arboretum at Flagstaff.

Docents are volunteer educators who interpret the educational message of The Arboretum for the public on daily tours.   

Training takes place from February through April on Tuesday afternoons.

Requirements

·        Arboretum membership

·        $75 initial training fee  (Once the docent has led 25 hours of tours, $50 will be reimbursed.)

·        Availability on Tuesday afternoons from 1-3:30

·        Ability to give 25 hours of service following completion of training
