R. Carlos Nakai - Dark Night Sky Concert

R. Carlos Nakai in concert at the Arboretum! R. Carlos Nakai is the world’s premier performer of the Native American flute. Featuring Udi Bar-David on cello this Dark Night Sky Concert is in partnership with the Flagstaff Dark Skies Coalition and Vintage Partners. There will be limited lighting and the concert begins as the sunsets around the San Francisco Peaks so attendees can focus on the pure music. Food and beverages will be served between 5:30-7:30pm so you can enjoy the gardens as they set into the night. No sales once the concert begins. Mushroom Festival

Love mushrooms? Us too! Find out the very important ways of identifying safe and unsafe mushrooms in Northern Arizona. Partake in a delicious sampling of mushroom appetizers provided by the head chef at Criollo Latin Kitchen on the evening August 18th at the Arboretum, and then participate on a guided foray in Flagstaff the next day, August 19th and gather mushrooms for your own delicious meals.
