- Date: Saturday, October 2, 2010
- Time: 1:00– 5:00 PM

The 2010 Flagstaff Festival of Science focuses on how our lives are impacted by science everyday. As part of the Flagstaff Festival of Science, we’re offering a free celebration of science and nature in the gardens especially for families. Research Scientist Dr. Kris Haskins will lead lab demonstrations. Children can participate in a scavenger hunt and hands-on activities that lead them through the gardens, where they can follow intriguing clues that highlight the wonders of autumn. There will be information available about the dynamics of fall color and suggested hikes and rides around Flagstaff that showcase the beauty of the season.
At 4:00 p.m. we will host a special guest. Shannon Benjamin from the Museum of Northern Arizona will share her knowledge of ravens and crows.
