Fall Open House

Saturday, October 4, 1:00 - 5:00 p.m.

Zoom into Science at The Arboretum's Fall Open House.  The 2008 event examines the natural world through the lens of a camera, microscope and magnifying glass.  As part of the Flagstaff Festival of Science, the afternoon of Saturday, October 4 will be a free celebration of science and nature in the gardens geared toward families.  Sedona photographer Rick Daley's work will be on display in the Visitors Center.  Join longtime Flagstaff rancher Cecil Miller for a talk about the history of ranching on Woody Mountain Road.  Lab demonstrations, hands-on activities for children and scavenger hunts will challenge the senses and lead families on an exploration of the wonders of the season.
