5/3 7:30 - 9:00 a.m. Saturday Birdwalk through Arboretum grounds Led by Audubon Society members.  Bring or borrow Arboretum binoculars. Free
5/3 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Class:  "Water Features in the Garden" Learn basic components of garden water features, with a hands-on construction project for a home garden. Members $25;   non-members $30
5/3 1:30 - 4:30 p.m. Class:  "Beginning Plant Propagation" Basic techniques to propagate Colorado Plateau plants.  Leave this hands-on workshop with several "starts" for your home garden. Members $25; non-members $30
5/10 7:30 - 9:00 a.m. Saturday Birdwalk through Arboretum grounds Led by Audubon Society members.  Bring or borrow Arboretum binoculars. Free
5/10 9:30 - 12:00 Bug Zoo  See live insects and photos and learn what they do in your garden. Free with admission price
5/11 9:00 a.m. -1:00 p.m. Mother's Day Celebration Mother Nature will be in attendance at The Arboretum, greeting all mothers with a flower and special welcome. Free admission to all mothers
5/17 7:30 - 9:00 a.m. Saturday Birdwalk through Arboretum grounds Led by Audubon Society members.  Bring or borrow Arboretum binoculars. Free
5/17 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Class:  "Gardening through the Seasons" Examples of routine garden maintenance, time-saving techniques, and a timetable for seasonal chores.  You will leave with a plan for the year. Members $25; non-members $30
5/17 1:30 - 4:30 p.m. Class:  "Pruning Workshop" How to prune native trees and shrubs, methods and timing.  Excellent complement to morning class. Members $25; non-members $30
5/20 6:30 p.m. Full Moon Bat Program Brian Keeley introduces you to "Bats of Arizona" before venturing into the garden to see, and perhaps capture, bats on the fly. Members $5; non-members $7
5/24 7:30 - 9:00 a.m. Saturday Birdwalk through Arboretum grounds Led by Audubon Society members. Bring or borrow Arboretum binoculars. Free
5/24 9:30 - 12:00 Bug Zoo  See live insects and photos and learn what they do in your garden.

5/24 5:30 - 7:00 p.m. Laura Gibson Concert With Laura's music championed by NPR, enjoy her delicate songs and gentle spirit under the canopy of the evening sky. Individual concert: Members $10; non-members $12.  Reduced season series prices - 6 concerts - $55 and $60
5/30   Last Day of Squirrel Exhibit Visitors Center Free
