SECTION 4

Streamside and Moist Canyon Habitat

Use plants from this list for landscapes in streamside areas with sloping, shaded canyons and in other areas or microclimates with northern exposures, morning Sun to partial shade, and sloping soils in irrigated gardens. Communities on the Plateau with these conditions (in Zone 4 or warmer (minimum temperature –30 to –20 degrees) for example, Sedona), at all elevations include Cheshire, Rio de Flag drainage, Oak Creek, protected areas of Sinclair Wash, and partially shaded, canyon-like areas.
