                                                                    Chaparral Habitat

Use plants from this list for landscapes in areas in Zone 6 or warmer (minimum temperature 0 to –10 degrees F) characterized by Chaparral at elevations from 4000 to 6800’, and in other areas or microclimates with warm, well-drained, seasonally dry soils.  Northern Arizona communities include Sedona, Payson and dry, “warm” areas with moderately long growing seasons.
