A Happy Rehab Story, June 2011:
This flammulated owl was recently was found in a pool in Phoenix. He probably was fatigued during his migration north. Folks with Game & Fish allowed him to rest at the Adobe Mountain Wildlife Rehabilitation Center and released him at The Arboretum, where he flew off to join others on the journey to cooler climes.
